Dubiously CanonKarako Pierot is a purple blooded troll living on Alternia during the time of Joey Claire's visit.
His sign is Caprira, sign of the Unwavering, which has a Prospit sway and is bound to the Mind aspect.
Concept and creation[]
Karako was designed by Phil Gibson. Before the reveal of his true name, a user ask prompted Gibson to declare he should be called "Honktass Buttnutt".[citation needed]
Karako was first revealed during the Hiveswap Troll Call event alongside Marsti Houtek on March 7, 2018, under the name "Who Is This?"; his sole bullet point was "Seriously, I don't know who this is". He was the only troll in the call not to be given a name at their reveal; instead of the post being tagged with a name like other characters' Troll Call debuts, he was simply tagged as "no answers here." "Karako" was not revealed until the announcement post for the dubiously canonical Hiveswap Friendship Simulator: Volume 14 , and "Pierot" was revealed within the Friendsim episode itself.
His bullet points were altered from December 6, 2018 to "HONK.", "HONK?", and "HONK!"
Etymology[]
Karako comes from the Arabic word "karakoze", for clown.[1] Pierot is derived from the French word "Pierrot", a style of mime, alluding to Karako's manner of conveying information without speaking.
His whole name is similar to the title of the 2011 40mP song 'Karakuri Pierrot', featuring Hatsune Miku.
Biography[]

In particular, it needs citations.In Hiveswap: Act 2, Joey and Xefros encounter Karako in the purple bloods' car of the train. They don't understand his Honks. After Joey is told to kill a purple blood, the other purple bloods assume that she is going to pick Karako because he is the weakest of them. He seems sad and resigned to his fate, unlike the other highbloods who seem to take pleasure in the possibility of their own deaths. He is the only highblood to react negatively to Baizli's death and Barzum's distress, although since all he says is "“HONK :(”" it's difficult to say whether he was genuinely saddened.
