ashdenej
ashdenej is the writer of Masquerade.[1] He is a gentleman who - according to himself - is extremely dapper, but this is a mere lie.[2] Masquerade is illustrated by Zephyrkit.[3]
His web browser of choice is Dolos, a trickster spirit in mythology. This fits in with his title, as he either destroys through truth - or destroys truth itself.
Don Huel

Don Huel, the protagonist of Masquerade, is his primary self-insert. His physical appearance could be described as a hunched older gentleman, who's hair is safely contained beneath a hat. He has a distinguished look about him. His outfit usually consists of a red shirt, suit and loafers. He wears a pair of ovular glasses.
The Don is interesting in perpetrating crime and foiling other's attempts to do the same. He enjoys long walks on the beach and backgammon. He owns a computer, but cannot use it for the life of him. He is left handed (when not spriteflipped), apparently senile, and has a long time nemesis with the Broccoli Gang. He can also play the double bass quite well.
His obfuscating stupidity could even be mistaken for actual insanity - perhaps, indeed, it is. He is willing to take a bite out of a bone-china teacup for the sake of maintaining the facade, at the very least.

The Don had the Forgetfulness Fetch Modus for his Sylladex, but lost it after captchaloguing himself. Later, he was ejected from the modus due to its next user's death.
