I made this page using a Python script that scrapes the Homestuck search page - it seems like a convenient reference and the wiki seems like a natural place for it to live. Do people like it? Does this sort of thing belong on the wiki?
I'd like to upload the source code but .py files aren't allowed. If we want to keep the page it would be perfect if we could just run the script automatically once a day or something...

Pesterlog Character Infoboxes Edit
Wouldn't it be better to work out something on this page than adding the damn pesterlog to everyone's page. I don't know why we need to keep track of each page with text on it. It would be like trying to add every page AH makes to this site (insane). It does help when trying to look for a specific conversation, but I just don't know why it has to be in the infoboxes? Why can we have a drop down for each pesterlog here or work something else out. Maybe a box where if you select two people you can see a link to all of their conversations. Working on something like that seems to be more helpful. Just thought someone should say something. If someone adds a program that works I will spend my time trying to fill it up. - I really like the pesterlogs on each character page. I'm working with Pigbuster on trying to figure out a good way to put symbols/logos for each character beside the pesterlogs - see the bottom of that page for details. I think they'll be much more useful if we can make that improvement.
- I agree that this page could be a lot more useful than it is now, though. A drop-down listing each interaction between characters would be very nice but probably pretty difficult to program. I'm not sure, though, because I'm definitely no web programmer. - Jumpjet2k 16:01, November 3, 2010 (UTC)
- I hear ya. It's a good start, though, anyways. I've cropped out a few errors in the process of going through all these. Once we get something working for character icons, I'll have to go through and check everything anyways, so I'm sure we'll get it all correct then. - Jumpjet2k 19:36, November 3, 2010 (UTC)
