Memories?[]
What's all this about “memories” shared between post- and pre-scratch selves? They're the same people, under different circumstances! Why would Dirk's Bro need to “remember” Dave's comics in order to create them? He is Dave!
(Maybe Dave wouldn't have created SB&HJ without Terezi's input, but for all we know he would've created it anyway and Terezi just created a benign stable time loop by involving herself in its creation.)
Also, The Signless is Karkat's ancestor, not his pre-scratch self. That's a whole different phenomenon.

- While you are right how Dave might have created them regardless (in fact I think Hussie hinted as much in one of his Tumblr posts), but I am not sure what you are getting at with the Signless. We know he is Karkat's ancestor, nothing in the article suggests otherwise, the mentioning in the article is because the Signless/Sufferer remembered his pre-scratch life. - Ah. Okay, that makes sense. I'm still not seeing why it should be mentioned in this page (much less in the first paragraph), though, and looking at the history I see I'm not the only one who thinks that whole passage should be removed from the intro. - I think, personally, that characters are the same, only either grown-up, or younger, yet they still have the memories. It can also change their personality.
- Pre-Scratch Kankri: An intellectual who talks about triggering and does the right stuff, even if it annoys people.
- Post-Scratch Kankri/Signless: A rule-breaker and does the right thing. Also, his friend, Horrus, changed from a calm inventor to a ruthless murderer/inventor.
- Roxy and Rose's Mom are pretty much the same, so that's why I said CAN ALSO change their personality.ThisHomestuckMakesNoSense (talk) 02:31, April 15, 2013 (UTC)
Dirk's Bro: Neglectful???[]
Could anyone point me to the page(s) where Dirk (and Roxy) say he's neglectful? More than that, are there any reasons why they would say that??? He's dead, and has been for hundreds of sweeps years! Are we sure they weren't just being ironic or some bullshit?

- I can't find the page but if he did say that, it's basic human nature. He knows full well that it isn't his Bro's fault that he had to arrive 400 years in the future, but he can't help feeling some irrational resentment towards him for "not being around".
