A lot of our Bard Quest articles are really short - in some cases, just one paragraph long - so I'm wondering if it might make sense to merge most of them together into one article that covers the entirety of a category (something like the Books in Homestuck page, but "Bard Quest locations" or "Bard Quest characters" instead). lp2277 | Talk 01:45, April 20, 2013 (UTC)
- I know I am half-way late in expressing my opinion on this but I do support the merging of the Bard Quest locations (which is already done), however for characters I am divided, I think the Bard himself still should have his own page. Also, while Bard Quest will never be completed, I think we should give the page structure the sort of "this is who may have been important to have a large page should have Bard Quest continued". which would presumably leave Flothers and Daunchy with their own page too, but maybe I am just being pedantic.
- I guess that would leave the merged character page as "Minor characters in Bard Quest", which also follows the "X in Y" title structure like "Books in Homestuck", which suggests the "Bard Quest locations", which a good category name, doesn't work when being transferred into an article. Perhaps "Locations in Bard Quest" would be a better article title? - The Light6 (talk) 01:44, April 25, 2013 (UTC)
- Okay, the locations page is now Locations in Bard Quest, so that part is taken care of. As far as the character page goes, I'm fine with leaving the Bard on his own page. Could you explain your proposed page structure in more detail, though? I don't think I'm entirely sure what your idea is. lp2277 | Talk 02:29, April 26, 2013 (UTC)
- Really it is just the same as what you were thinking, except with not only the Bard left on his own page, but Flothers and Daunchy too, leaving only the king, blacksmith, butcher, codsmith, and swamp wizard to be merged. However as the scope of the page would be narrower, the page name should be "Minor characters in Bard Quest" as opposed to "Characters in Bard Quest". - The Light6 (talk) 02:47, April 26, 2013 (UTC)
