The Lute Solo first appears as a soon-fatal celebration in Bard Quest, but reappears in Problem Sleuth for another bard. In Bard Quest, the lute solo is used to celebrate becoming a dragon slayer (however, it would be wiser to go to the blacksmith and end up getting a codpiece.) In Problem Sleuth, the clown bard can play incendiary lute solos and does so to help his teammates fight through the Cathedral of Syndetic Ascension. Sometime, we might meet a bard who reinvents the act of playing the violin.
