The Land of Wrath and Angels (LOWAA), is Eridan Ampora's planet in the Medium. It is a monochrome land of flying creatures and gothic architecture.
Concept and creation[]
Angels are symbols of the Hope aspect, while wrath may contrast with the very concept of Hope in the same way a Land of Tents and Mirth contrasts with the role of a Bard of Rage. Wrath could also describe the animosity Eridan has for the planet's inhabitants as well as the anger felt by the “wwrath-wweary” angels themselves.
"LOWAA" is also humorously rendered as “lowwaa” in Eridan's quirk, with two double letters possibly making it difficult for him to pronounce.
Geography[]
The Land of Wrath and Angels' sky is a blinding white not unlike a hope field, casting everything around it, including the planet's native angels, in pitch black silhouette. The planet's skyline is dominated by towering gothic cathedrals and castles, with details glistening with a white glow.
Habitation[]
Though the planet is evidently populated with many angels, nothing is known of what the Land of Wrath and Angels' consorts, denizen or underlings might have looked like.
History[]
Presumably, at some point "prior" to Eridan's arrival, the planet's denizen was prompted by Agents of Derse to start creating an army of underlings.[1]
Eridan quickly started attacking the angels after his arrival, and spent most of his time on this planet attempting to totally eradicate them. This inspired the rest of his session to spend as little time on the planet as possible in order to avoid the enraged creatures, or being caught in the crossfire of his rifle. Eridan himself left briefly to the Land of Brains and Fire to duel with Sollux Captor, and was forced to relocate to the meteor after the defeat of the Black King and Jack Noir's destruction of the rest of the planets in the Incipisphere.
In Act 6 Intermission 2, a memory of LOWAA is seen in a dream bubble, populated by doomed timeline ghosts of Eridan and Feferi Peixes.
In Paradox Space (Dubiously Canon)[]
Hospitality[]
Gamzee Makara arrived on the Land of Wrath and Angels after travelling through the wrong gate; despite an attempt to chill with its hero for a little while, he was quickly shepherded back to the nearest return node, though Eridan subsequently mourned that the purple blood couldn't have stayed a little longer.

He then went about befouling our land with all this sludge, clogging up all our beautiful Pipes, and now it can barely breathe. He was sort of a huge dick. Once he tuckered himself out with all that I guess he decided to take a nap. / The terrible guys? They are a bunch of mean fellows who like to push people around. They are called Agents.”
