Bowkind and ½bowkind are the secondary strife specibi of Equius Zahhak, whom has never been seen to successfully use a bow due to his strength insensitivity but having bowkind on his strife portfolio
. Equius once confirmed Dave's guess that the way he manages to wield the ½bowkind specibus is by “clubbing shit with the two halves” of the bow.
Horuss Zahhak is also mentioned to be an archer, however he is never seen with a bow.
Equius seems to have not alchemized better bows through the span of Homestuck. In Equius: Seek the highb100d, Gamzee Makara is able to use a bow to kill Equius; this is possible because his jokerkind specibus allowed that bow in its criteria.
