In Homestuck there are many programming languages, which are used by the kids and the trolls.

~ATHEdit

~ATH (pronounced till death--the tilde isn't silent.) is a programming language in the Homestuck universe. Its name is a reference to how programs written in it function. Programs written in ~ATH are tied to the lifespan of an object and run in an infinite loop until the death or destruction of the object at which point the code is executed.

John and Karkat try, unsuccessfully, to use ~ATH. However, Sollux is shown to be "obnoxiously good" with it, and Roxy is shown to be able to program it successfully.

^CAKEEdit

^CAKE (pronounced caret cake) is a programming language in the Homestuck universe. Its name is a pun on the food "carrot cake", and its logo even depicts a carrot cake. A few ^CAKE files are visible on John's desktop near the beginning of the comic along with a ~ATH file. Unlike ~ATH, however, ^CAKE is never seen in use.

DIS*Edit

DIS* (pronounced dis asterisk) is a programming language in the Homestuck universe. Its name is a pun on the phrase "disaster risk," continuing the trend of punny programming language names. A guide for this language is shown on John's bookshelf, but it is never drawn attention to or seen again.
