The Courtesan Angels were AN ARMY OF ONE THOUSAND ANGELS summoned by the Demimonde Goddess to help her escape from the gravitational pull of Black Hole Mobster Kingpin. Unfortunately, the angels were of no use whatsoever, and the Demimonde Goddess remained trapped until they ESCAPED VIA HAWKING RADIATION , creating Anti-Angel counterparts for each one.

The escaped angels and anti-angels then rushed DMK, but again proved to be worthless when they could not damage even one of DMK's health bars.
