Coddlebrand is a Guardian Rubric used by Dad in Homestuck against John during Strife. It is an aggressive offering of cake, as Dad has been baking a lot of it all day and has nothing better to do than to offer John more of it. John has been eating the stuff all day and is rather sick of it, using it instead for Hilarious Antics. Coddlebrand has a chance to activate Dotesmite, furthering John's embarrassment as he attempts to Abjure the treat.
